CA Dr. Varsha Ainapure has 34 years of academic experience of teaching Financial Accounting, IFRS, and Income Tax at UG, & PG levels. She is a recognised guide under the faculty of Commerce (Business Management) at University of Mumbai. 3 students have been awarded Ph. D. under her guidance. Her areas of interest are Financial Reporting, and IFRS. She retired as Professor & Head of the Department of Accountancy at Khandwala College. She is M. Com. (Advanced Accountancy & Costing) from University of Mumbai, FCA (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), Ph. D. (Management) from SNDT University and a Post-Doctoral Fellow as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Fox School of Business, Temple University, Philadelphia, USA. She is widely known for the 40+ text books co-authored by her for the students of University of Mumbai on accountancy, taxation and auditing.
Dr. Satish Ailawadi possesses over 27 yr.s Industry experience in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Over 20 yr.s experience in teaching Operations. He has Authored a book on Logistics & Supply Chain Management (3rd edition). He has held the positions of Director at K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai, Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad, and Professor Emeritus, at Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad and Senior Professor & Head of Academics at Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management, Hyderabad. Currently he is the Director at General, Integral Institute of Advanced Management, Visakhapatnam.
Dr. Charmi Shah has over 13 years of teaching experience in PGDM and MMS programs. She holds an M.Com. (Accountancy and Costing) from the University of Mumbai, as well as a PGDM (Finance) and a Ph.D. (Banking & Finance) under faculty of Commerce and Management from University of Mumbai. She teaches Corporate Finance, Derivatives, Advance Financial Management, Equity Valuation, Financial Modelling, Business Statistics and Operations Research.
Mr. Anil B. Kulkarni retired as professor of Marketing at SPJIMR 2019. He did his PGDM from IIM Calcutta. He has 19 years of industry experience and 31 years in academics of which 25 years at SPJIMR and the rest at MICA, Ahmedabad where he was its Director for six years. His areas of interest are Strategic Marketing, Marketing Simulations, Pricing, MEXL and Social Marketing. He has taught as visiting faculty at IIMA, IIMK, NIRMA Institute of Management, Mody University, and MDI in India and at universities in Germany, Dubai, Singapore and Trinidad and Tobago. He headed the initiative, The Learning Odyssey for the continuous improvement in the teaching capability of SPJIMR faculty.
Siddharth Parakh is a CA, CS & holds MBA degree. He has keen interest in Capital Markets, Strategy Consultancy and Mergers & Acquisitions. He has 12+ yrs. of work experience. Siddharth has completed his MBA in Finance & Consulting from SPJIMR and Cornell University, New York, with Dean's Top 5 recognition.
He was felicitated with the prestigious ‘Economic Times Young Leader 2019’ award (touted as India’s version of Forbes 30under30) thereby making into the coveted ranking of India’s emerging business leaders.
Currently he is working with TATA Son’s Group as Chairman and Group CFO’s team in Investments, M&A and Strategy.
Prof. Rukaiya Joshi has 14yrs. Experience in teaching as a professor in SPJIMR in the areas of Leadership & Social Sector Management. She was a Chairperson of Centre for Education in Social Sector (CEdSS), Post Graduate Program in Development Management (PGPDM).
CA Ajay Gupta is a Sr. Director in Cap Gemini. He has over 27 years of experience in Risk Management, Internal audits, ERP Implementation, Due Diligence, Business Analyst, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and Information Systems (IS) Audits. In his current role, he manage Shared Service Centre for Nordic countries. Earlier, he led the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solutions in Cap Gemini. Head - Shared Services Centre (Nordic) at Cap Gemini.
Bipasha Roy is a Design Thinking consultant & faculty, an internationally Certified Facilitator in LEGO® Serious Play® Methods and Materials, & Certified UX Designer. She has more than 25 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, Capabilities Development, Content Creation, in leading organizations. She is a visiting faculty for 'Design Thinking & Innovation' courses at SPJIMR Mumbai; llM Kozhikode; llFM, Bhopal; ISDM Noida.
She has a B.Sc. from Calcutta University, & some prestigious professional certifications like: LEGO® Serious Play® Methods (Creawity, Finland), Design Thinking (Pensaar at IIM, Bangalore, IDEO Acumen, IxDF Denmark), User Experience Design (IxDF Denmark) & Emotional Design (IxDF Denmark).
Mr. Praveen Tripathi has been a visiting faculty at IIM Ahmedabad, IIT – Kanpur, ISB Hyderabad, and Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad. He is Member, Awareness and Communication Advisory Council, UID Authority of India, Co-Chairman, Confederation of NGOs of Rural India. He is Founder CEO of Magic9 Media & Consumer Knowledge Private Limited and Magic9 Media & Analytics Private Limited providing various services related to branding and marketing effectiveness to clients.He is a Past Member, Marketing Advisory Council at SPJIMR. He was President of the Market Research Society of India, Chairman of the Technical Committee for Radio Audience Measurement set up by ORG-MARG, India.
Dr. Dasika Chaitanya has 20+ years of experience in Human Resource Management with focus on teaching, training, and talent management. She holds a Ph.D. from IIM Mumbai and holds a Post Graduate degree in Management (MBA in Human Resource Management) from Osmania University, Hyderabad. She also holds an advanced Post Graduation Diploma in Advertising and Marketing. Dr. Chaitanya played a pivotal role in coordinating the structural design and revision of the syllabi for the MBA Tech program at NMIMS. She has 4 years of corporate training experience, and was teaching and training corporate s as a faculty for 15 + years at NMIMS University s Technology management program.. She has trained around 10,000 corporates and conducted 90 Management Development Programmes for LIC Officers. Her research areas are Talent Management, Happiness at Work, Corporate Governance and has 17 publications to her credit in national and international journals.
CA Kauser Meherali has 14 years of post-qualification professional work experience as ex E&Y (UAE) and ex , Research Analyst at ARM Research. Her independent assignments included working with notable companies such as CGG Ardiesives FZCO, Gargash Hotels, Danway Trading, Danway International, and the Azadea group of Companies. She has been an important Trainer for the Train the Trainer program on Goods and Services Tax (GST) in Mumbai. She holds the honorary title of State President at WICCI Capital markets council. She played a crucial role as Head of Solutions design at Manipal Global, Ph.D mentor at UpGrad Liverpool John Moore’s university, a corporate advisor at HSBC InvestDirect (formerly known as IL&FS Investsmart Ltd) and as a Senior Manager & Team Leader in Equities (Offline Sales- HNWI & Institutional) at Indiabulls Securities Ltd.
CA Sanjay Parikh has over thirty years of work experience in leadership roles in the asset management and life insurance sectors. As a Group COO at Enam Asset Management, he played a pivotal role in launching a new product and supporting digital on-boarding of customers. He has served as the Head of Financial Products Distribution at Mahindra Finance and as COO at Deutsche Asset Management India and Taurus Asset Management Co Ltd. He was also the CFO of Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset Management Co Ltd. as well as Mahindra Manulife Investment Management Pvt Ltd. Before Asset Management, Sanjay worked as Head - Product Management at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Co Ltd. He also served as the Executive Assistant to the Chairman at Aditya Birla Group, where he assisted in managing various businesses within the conglomerate. Sanjay likes to teach and has conducted various sessions related to finance and capital markets. Other than teaching, he likes to stay fit and reads a lot to stay updated on various issues.
